It's not about me... It's all about God

We are already having an amazing trip in Honduras... Got to spend two days & nights with our "boys"; Carlos, Edwardo & Saul. Assembled and distributed dry & fresh food baskets. Played HARD today with the Mololoa kids at the KFC {climbing and playing in spaces not meant for anyone taller than 4ft}. Brought A LOT of smiles to some kids in the cancer unit at Hospital Esquela. Spent some time with friends who mean more to me than what I could ever describe adequately. The rest of the week promises to be even better {especially since our team is finally at full strength as of tonight}!
Our evening devos will be live on podcast at 9:00CST if you are interested in joining in with us across the continent. I promise the singing will be UNBELIEVABLE!!
Thank you already for all of your prayers! God is here and working... pray we continue to let Him!

Live from Honduras...

We are here!! Having a great time.. spending it with good friends and gearing up for the team to arrive... as well as our luggage :)
I absolutely love being in this country. My heart feels at home here. For the next two weeks I get to serve alongside some of the greatest people I know. I got addicted to missions a long time ago, and have been blessed to be able to go almost every year since. Can't think of a better way to experience God, and have the box I place Him in blown apart every trip...
Pray for open hearts and selfless attitudes! We'll be back in the States July 9th
love ya, mean it! ;)

My response to Tiger Woods' US Open victory...

"I don't really care. It's all about the Eurocup. I don't think anyone really watches golf anymore." -JMitchell
"I don't really care. It's all about the Dodgers. I don't think anyone really watches hockey anymore."
-Tiger Woods in response to being asked if he was rooting for Detroit or Pittsburg in the Stanley Cup

And we're back...!
We had an unforgettable trip to Brazil. I am still trying to wrap my head around everything that happened, it certainly was a whirlwind. And I am taking a while to process, as usual.
The boys did so awesome on this trip, several of them stepped up and it was such an amazing thing to see. One of my favourite things about these trips is watching how other people react and grow right before your very eyes. I am so proud of them. God blessed us with good health and safe travels. I hope we represented Him well!
